Summary:
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Submit quotations and completing follow calls as required
- Send requests for modification of stock inventory to preapproved vendors as necessary
- Source and purchase nonstock items to meet customer order needs
- Enter accepted orders into Business Central
- Assist with rectifying issues as they arise
- Work with the Sales team to ensure fluid communication and handoffs on any pending items
- Travel to customers locations when and as needed to foster the business relationship and ensuring their needs are met
- Help establish best practices within the team
- Generate reports upon requests
- Assist in training and mentorship of junior staff
- When necessary, assign work tasks to members of Inside Sales Team
- Participate in customer and vendor meetings as needed
- Actively participate and act as a departmental lead in HSE meetings and FET's HSE program.
Skills/Knowledge
- Working knowledge of customer service techniques in an industrial setting
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with appropriate interpersonal skills at all levels within the business
- Familiar with order entry software and processes
- Strong computer and Microsoft Excel knowledge an asset
- Able to change task or direction while maintaining organization
- High level of organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a necessity
- Analytical thinker and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or related job experience.
Experience
- 5+ years of Industry related Sales experience
- Prior experience in a lead role preferred
- Valve Industry experience considered an asset.

$75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
