SAMA is the recognized leader and authority on property assessment, and Saskatchewan's service provider of choice. SAMA develops, regulates, and delivers a stable, cost-effective assessment system that is accurate, up-to-date, universal, equitable and understandable.Position Overview:
- Assisting senior Appraisers in collecting physical data used in the valuation of residential and commercial properties and agricultural land.
- Utilizing aerial photography to update current acre inventories in the Agency's computer system as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good communication and public relations skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently or with limited supervision
- Good problemsolving and time management skills
Required Professional Designations/Certification:
- Fall 2023 enrolment in a postsecondary institution (university or college).
- A valid class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is required.
Employment with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
Salary:
$1,654 bi-weekly
