  • OVERVIEW
  • This individual will be responsible for directly leading and managing the planning, execution and postproject reporting of events for ATS Life Sciences Systems globally. Your primary focus will be to drive demand to generate sales pipeline and bookings.

In pursuit of this objective, you will:

  • Deliver an optimal visitor experience in alignment with the event goals
  • Manage external vendors/partners and convention center relationships to best position our brand for success
  • Deliver a streamlined event experience for ATS Life Sciences Systems event staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and postevent reporting and followup for all globally located ATS Life Sciences Systems events. Events include, but are not limited to virtual and physical trade shows, summits, conferences, customer events, open houses, warehouse tours, lunch & learns
  • Negotiate event contracts, complete registrations, select appropriate vendors and contractors, secure necessary insurance, place purchase orders, approve invoices, etc.
  • Form and lead event teams
  • Establish project plan for events including theme, key message(s), goals and metrics, tasks, resources and responsibilities, equipment, schedule (including during event), etc.
  • Prepare booth design, briefing package, lead followup, postevent evaluation, etc.
  • Develop eventspecific promotional plan(s) including social media marketing plan(s)
  • Work crossfunctionally with the marketing team to deliver all eventrelated marketing collateral, graphics, website content, etc.
  • Create, manage and track the annual marketing event budget
  • Manage event logistics, including materials, equipment, displays, misc. event assets, meetings, catering, audiovisual, shipping, installation, teardown, etc.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for event staff and 3rd party partners
  • Report on all event KPIs, objectives and goals, lead generation outcomes and ROI
  • Report regularly on projects and progress, opportunities and roadblocks
  • Recommend and execute annual events strategy in support of the sales strategy
  • Maintain and manage an inventory of event assets
  • Select and manage 3rd event party partners including but not limited to booth and assets purchase or rental, design, graphics, video, presentations, giveaways, inbooth entertainment, onsite catering, reservations, event planners, etc.
  • Collaborate with other ATS businesses and their marketing teams for cohosted events
  • Help coordinate promotional program for marketing and sales
  • As needed and independent of events, collaborate with the marketing and sales team and others to produce catchy, persuasive, and engaging original collateral, content, assets, etc.
  • Create requisitions for purchase orders and submit all Marketing invoices to JDE for approval

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A postsecondary degree or diploma in Marketing or related discipline
  • Minimum of five to seven years of marketing experience in a complex, global industrial or B2B organization, AND in event management and/or event marketing
  • Certifications in events planning and management, and/or project management are considered an asset
  • Demonstrated success with:
  • Managing several major events simultaneously
  • Working in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines
  • Flexing and adapting to changing priorities
  • Crossfunctional team collaboration
  • Must be processdriven and detailoriented
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decisionmaking skills
  • Proven track record of tradeshow, event execution, and delivering leads

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills
  • Disciplined selfstarter and independent worker; able to work from home
  • Ability to travel globally
  • Demonstrated logistics planning and management abilities
  • Adobe Creative Suite graphic design experience (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a bonus
  • Experience in the life sciences industry an asset, but not a requirement
  • Excellent command of English language, oral and written
  • Event Portfolio available up
