Job Summary

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Day shift 8:30am 5pm, Monday to Friday (8hour shifts)
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, positive attitude.
  • Expect to receive exposure and training in all aspects of the company (floater for front office/admin)
  • MUST be able to speak, read and write in English

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answering phones on a multiple line switchboard
  • Helping our customers across Canada with any inquiries they may have
  • Data Entry of incoming orders, sending order confirmations to customers and confirming product that requires more information.
  • Letting the Supply Chain Manager know what custom products need to be ordered
  • Learning and having knowledge of all products Blake Medical sells
  • Fulfilling any requests made
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Assisting other staff with various duties as required.
  • Energetic, ability to work autonomously, adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and situations and manage stressful situations.
  • Collaborative and teamoriented
  • English verbal, reading comprehension and writing skills.
  • Dedicated to getting the job done while meeting established standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Skills

  • QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
  • Typing skill, 60 WPM
  • Document use, numeracy, oral communication, working with others, continuous learning.
  • Office 365 Applications (Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Bonus Skills (not required):

  • WHMIS 2015 certificate, First Aid, Worker Health and Safety in 4 Steps certification and any other Health and Safety certificates or certifications.
