The NRC is establishing a permanent, Good Manufacturing Pratice (GMP) compliant clinical trial material facility at its Royalmount Avenue site in Montréal.

This facility will be used to manufacture vaccine and other biologic materials for clinical trials to support the development of new therapeutics for human health.


The TL is responsible for:
- the computer systems, for the IT aspects related to automation systems and production devices as well as for the IT infrastructure of the CTMF facility.
- the regulatory compliance of information technology (IT) operations, including IT validation.
- the IT GMP components involved in the site, and for managing resources to align with priorities and deadlines.


Screening Criteria:


Education:

Bachelor of Sciences or equivalent discipline; or a combination of relevant education and experience

Experience:


  • Significant experience in leading a team.
  • Coordinate IT and automation support team members tasks and ensure that they have the required training, competencies and tools to performed them.
  • Reporting to the manager in charge the progress of project implementation and on going support work.
  • Significant experience in IT:
  • Network & systems administration.
  • Configuring, operating, maintaining and monitoring networking, server and storage equipment of various brands;
  • Installing, configuring and managing a virtualization environment;
  • Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and Terminal Server solutions
  • Experience with managing cloud platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Azure would be an asset.
  • Cyber security best practices.
  • Experience in automation:
  • Device configuration and maintenance
  • Process automation
  • Experience in change and incident management.
  • Experience in development, writing and implementation of policies, procedures, tools, key performance indicators that reflect the quality and technical requirements of the facility.
  • Experience in making recommendations for maintaining, upgrading and replacing IT assets.
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service.
Note that significant experience is define by minimum 3 years' experience.

  • IT experience in a GMP Pharma environment.

Competency Profile(s):


Compensation:

From $89,548 to $112,660 per annum.


An incumbent occupying a position within the CS Group is currently entitled to receive a terminable allowance of $212 per month.
