Securiguard is currently looking for outstanding, experienced and motivated Security Professionals for Greater Vancouver area.

As a Security professional, you'll be responsible for the protection of people and assets by patrolling designated areas, identifying, and reporting safety hazards and reporting security breaches, as well as completing all reporting and radio check-ins.

Other duties may include responding to alarms and emergencies and controlling access to the site.

You will provide excellent customer service to our clients and guests, while providing a visual security presence to deter and detect unauthorized guests.

Availability:
Full Time, Part time, Casual

What would you bring:

Valid BC Security License
Previous security experience required
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skill
Must have strong customer service skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable, available, independent nature, of sound character and a team player
Ability to work in a fastpaced customeroriented environment
Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills
Professional demeanor in stressful situations
A listening mindset

Job Duties include, but are not restricted to:

Provision of excellence in customer service
Access Control
Patrolling
CCTV Monitoring
OFA1 First Aid
Communications, including radio, digital and incident escalations
Incident and activity reporting
Identifying and reporting safety hazards
Crime prevention
Visual deterrence
Emergency Services liaison
Dealing with severe / escalated situations
Demonstrate empathy when handling situations involving Vancouver's most vulnerable populations
