CAD Technician / Mechanical Drafter:


Typical activities include:

All Activities will be to design and detail Machine Tool Components and Assemblies. - Create Sheet metal, weldment and machine tool components - Detailing/design/CAD of plate and structural steel. - Preparation and detailing of drawings. - Preparation of concept design into construction drawings and detailed specifications. - Use Solidwork's and work in team environment. - Other duties as required


Position Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of a technician/technologist program in mechanical design/engineering
  • Previous experience designing metal structures.
  • 3+ year's work experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and welding requirements.
  • Experienced in Solidworks
