We are looking for a talented _Chemical Materials Technician_ to join our
#Accelera by Cummins business unit located in
Mississauga, ON.



In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • As part of a training or development program, learns and develops required skills in a manufacturing environment under direct guidance.
  • Apprentice will be required to successfully complete and document specified classes and a minimum quantity of on the job training hours.
  • Learns and understand the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
  • Report any workrelated injury, illness, incident or hazard.
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
  • Performs supervised work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using

Experience


Operates analytical instruments and equipment and performs physical analysis in support of production and non-production engineering, quality, and manufacturing groups.

Performs routine calibrations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair of instruments and equipment.

Participates in improvement projects.

Participates in the maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions.

Performs other miscellaneous duties, as required.
