Kal Tire is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to join our busy team in Watford, ON.As a new team member, you'll perform front shop service, off-site fleet service, and roadside assistance while using your exceptional customer service skills.
Problem solver and adaptable to changing situations.Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform service work on commercial tires and wheels including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installation, reinstallations, and diagnostics.
- Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
- Answer service calls to provide tirerelated assistance for commercial vehicles stranded on the road.
- Interact with customers in a friendly professional manner. Listen to their tirerelated concerns, provide advice, and recommend appropriate options based on their vehicle type, usage, and budget.
- Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving attitude.
- 6 months of experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services.
- You are a selfstarter dedicated to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and constructive workplace.
- Comfortable working with mínimal supervision.
- Enjoy creating positive and building longterm relationships.
- Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50 lbs at shoulder height.
- Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.
