SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the management and protection of Sherwin-Williams paint store accounts receivable assets through prudent credit decisions, current collection follow-up with stores and customers, third-party involvement, credit training and the enforcement of credit collection policies in the field.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
- Personal computer skills desirable.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.
- Experience in hiring, training, evaluating work performance and educating field personnel in accounts receivable management.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel by air.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate and be understood in both written and verbal communications (i.e., phone).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer experience in Credit or Accounting; or prior accounting/professional accounts receivable management experience.
- Prefer Bachelors Degree in a Business related field.
- Ability to interact with management staff as well as external customers including, Collection Agencies, Credit Reporting Agencies and Attorneys.
- Organizational, planning and management skills with the ability to establish priorities and handle many tasks at once.
- Ability to provide service and support to the Credit organization, including in person customer visits as required assisting resolving problems and supporting sales.
