Position Summary


A great opportunity exists for an experienced Administrative Assistant & Receptionist to support our Environmental team to ensure our companies remain compliant with regulatory approval, permit requirements, systems management (internal scheduling, tracking, and reporting) and support the effective functioning of the Environmental Management System (EMS).

You will be engaging with a variety of Departments and assisting them in meeting their administrative responsibilities, practices, and procedures.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics, equipment inventory.
  • Assisting customers with inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepare employee timecards
  • Managing inventory of assets and supplies, sourcing for suppliers (vendors) and submitting invoices.
  • Ordering of supplies when required.
  • Arrange for maintenance and/or repair of all office equipment.
  • Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving daytoday administrative and operational problems.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, interviews, events and other similar activities.
  • Sending out and receiving mail and packages.
  • Preparing business correspondence (using Microsoft office, word, excel, outlook).
  • Sending faxes.
  • Managing filing system and contents.
  • Address all employees concerns in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Research and the identification of key data sources.
  • Performing multifaceted general office support.
  • Preparing meeting minutes, meeting notes and internal support materials.
  • Sending and receiving forms for the company.
  • Security of site, including visitor signin/sign out.
  • Running errands, including stocking of employee lunch areas (coffee, water etc.).
  • Answer telephones and record messages if applicable.
  • Manage day to day operations as required.
  • Create and manage purchase orders.
  • Emergency Response Team Member and Health and Safety Committee secretary (if designated)
  • Follow company environmental, health and safety procedures and actively participate in all company training, including internal and external training as required.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
