DeFord Contracting Inc.

is looking for an _experienced and hardworking_
Cement Spreader Truck Driver (Class 3) for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

Responsibilities:


  • Comply with safe working procedures and practices
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Handling, loading, transporting, and spreading of cement products
  • Haul various materials to and from site
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Valid Class 3 license with Air Ticket
  • Must be able to drive standard transmission
  • Must have 2+ years' experience spreading powder/driving Spreader Truck
  • Experience driving Water Truck and Tandem Truck, _considered an asset_
  • Excellent knowledge of city and surrounding areas
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Experience doing proper pre trip inspections
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Reliable and a positive attitude
