In your role, you will:

  • Adhere to General Work Requirements;
  • Analyze complex business situations with the department and researches alternative solutions;
  • Manage, Design and implement process change management process, including the governance required to ensure adherence to improvement efforts across the applicable site;
  • Manage, Design and implement process change management, for example, business case development, process implementation training, process mapping, team development;
  • Prepare and present material of overall process implementation status and change management activity to Management on key process, systems and people improvements;
  • Lead root cause and corrective efforts within teams, implementing a data driven culture with project prioritization (Pareto) within all aspects of quality, cost, schedule, cultural and systems improvements;
  • Integrate improvement efforts across facility;
  • Support the development of process strategies for improvement/enhancements across the business unit working process center teams to foster strategic alignment, including the use of the house of quality to ensure alignment;
  • Prepare material for strategic plans and process improvements of key site initiatives for management briefings, such as process improvement initiatives;
  • Lead process change management projects and initiatives in support of site improvement efforts (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Operational Excellence, Process Change Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Inventory Management) ensuring targeted improvements are harmonized crossfunctionally achieving superior results;
  • Support process development and teams integrating objectives for business unit success;
  • Assist the leadership with improving the overall decisionmaking structure and processes of process change management meetings for the applicable site to ensure adherence to process governance;
  • Lead the working level process improvement teams in developing improvement projects for cost, schedule and quality improvements, for example, funding, schedule, and expected results for individual process initiatives;
  • Assist management with benchmarking process implementation across the applicable site in order to establish the appropriate improvement targets for process centered teams;
  • Lead the process change teams in developing required deliverables, implementation schedule, and metrics to measure actual vs. planned objectives;
  • Assist in the development of sitewide balanced scorecard/key performance indicators (i.e., objectives) improvement plans, tracking plans, and metrics by function in alignment with overall Bombardier business objectives to improve performance of individual programs;
  • Provide management with the necessary tools to ensure that improvements are maintained upon completion of a project;
  • Assist in the development of strategic process orientation development and alignment of organizational goals with the key objectives for the applicable site;
  • Train project teams in the Six Sigma methodology and tools;
  • Support the development of Six Sigma analysts by delivering training and providing coaching;
  • Build customer relations internally and externally to support efficient process development and follow through;
  • Perform project planning for improvement (Kaizen, Yokoten, Project Charting, projects with probabilistic data "Lean Green Belt" to more complex issues and possibilities to analyze data, DMAIC action deployment);
  • Set up the process flows based on services/products of the Global Bombardier Value Stream Maps (VSM) with support of the supervisors and/or managers;
  • Follow up with service center leaders, and other participants periodically regarding Kaizen results in order to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Manage and monitor plans or projects for improving customer surveys;
  • Represent the Bombardier Service Centers in the continuous improvement committee;
  • Obtain continuous feedback from each team under Bombardier Service Center to identify potential roadblocks, concerns and issues that need to be rapidly resolved;
  • Perform periodical meetings regarding Action Plans for Leadership team at the Bombardier Service Center.
  • Train and coach Leadership through Kaizen and Yokoten programs;
  • Provide reviews and comments on all A3 forms originating from any of the Bombardier Service Center cells;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • You have 5 years of proven experience in process management improvement;
  • You have working knowledge of Quality Management System, Or
