Position Summary:

  • Coordinate the implementation of global cancer programs and initiatives, including project planning, budget management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between global partners and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the progress and impact of global cancer programs and initiatives
  • Support the GCP program through room bookings, communications, managing supplies, and catering as needed
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments, prepare and distribute meeting agendas, and take detailed minutes
  • Create an efficient data management organization system of GCP documentation, continuously audit and maintain accurate program records, and ensure timely upload of relevant documentation and communication to SharePoint
  • Develop a calendar of GCP scheduled activities and maintain oversight of deadlines for projects on a monthly basis
  • Oversee finances and financial disbursements as related to the GCP
  • Perform crossfunctional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested

Qualifications:


  • At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor's degree program, or recognized equivalent in, a healthrelated field.
  • Master degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Project coordination/management fundamentals is an asset.
  • Experience with developing and working with budgets is an asset.
  • Exercises initiative and good judgement with ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and/or departmental policies is an asset.
  • Dedication to continuous learning about the program and global cancer
  • Excellent decisionmaking, problem solving and negotiation skills required.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, team building and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fastpaced, changing environment
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards
