- Monitor and patrol assigned areas of the mall on foot or by vehicle.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Enforce mall rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in managing crowd control during peak times and special events.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and parking areas.
- Provide assistance and direction to mall patrons and tenants.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents and daily activities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Utilize surveillance systems and other security equipment to monitor activity.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Alberta security license
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
