Description

Responsibilities:


  • Perform civil works coordination, inspections, and quantity measurement
  • Check grades and elevations of newly installed infrastructure
  • Monitor and coordinate contractor progress to ensure work is completed within construction schedule
  • Check for compliance to plans and specifications
  • Review and confirmation of monthly progress worksheets and measurements
  • Maintain an asbuilt plan and communicate changes to Civil Team
  • Follow up on deficiencies to ensure timely correction and completion of work
  • Assure compliance with the project construction schedule and budgets
  • Uphold the jobrelated safety regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure project materials and workmanship meet the project quality standards
  • Use best efforts to resolve any scheduling challenges/disputes between onsite subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of civil construction experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience overseeing project sites/civil crews is an asset
  • Equipment operation is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Understanding of methodology and terminology in the civil construction industry
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and other construction drawings
  • Working experience in earthworks and utility installation
  • Resultsfocused with a proven track record of accomplishments in the construction field
  • Ability to travel and work on various job sites at different territorial locations
