Job Description:

As a Release Manager, you will be the bridge between our business leaders, product owners, IT project teams, and the release delivery team responsible for delivering exciting projects as part of the Enterprise Project Office.

You will facilitate prioritization sessions, along with utilizing Agile ways of working in managing release scope, timelines, and resources to ensure adherence with approved release plans.

In this role, you will work closely with the delivery team to identify, anticipate, and manage release issues and risks, escalating unresolved risks and issues to senior management.

Education:

College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline or a combination of experience, education and/or training deemed to be equivalent.

Certification in any of the following discipline:
Scrum, Agile, Release Management, Project Management, or Service Delivery

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience involving in Technical Project Management in an IT organization. Minimum of 3 years of release management experience Hands-on experience with Agile SDLC involving Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Prior experience in implementing release management would be highly valued Additional experience in any of the following areas preferred:
Development, Support, Testing, Project Management or Maintenance

Skills:

Working knowledge of the implementing and operating Release Management Ability to interact and communicate with senior stakeholders Ability to prepare and facilitate prioritization meetings with cross-functional senior stakeholders Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle You pride yourself on analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills You anticipate potential problems in all aspects and will proactively create mitigation plans based on day-to-day communication & observations.

You can simplify complex situations, navigate ambiguity, and the drive to deliver quality work You are great at facilitating to ensure everyone is aligned to the objectives and deliverables
