  • Our Assembler/Fabricators have a starting wage range of $18-$22 per hour based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

    • Our AdvanTec Manufacturing Canada facility is looking for an energetic Assembler/Fabricator to join our Doors Department in Chilliwack.

    The Assembler/Fabricator is responsible for reading and analyzing blueprints and engineered drawings to correspond with the required metal cuts. The Assembler/Fabricator will be required to use a variety of power tools to make the necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components into complete units. Open to inexperienced candidates as we are willing to train the right person.

    Essential functions for this role are:

  • Analyze blueprints and drawings to assess materials needed
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to fabricate products
  • Operate light machinery, including grinders, sanders, cordless drills, and a variation of saws
  • Install fabricated components in the final product
  • Monitor quality of assembly & fabrication
  • Adhere to all safety standards and SOP's

    • If you have the following experience, qualifications, and skills, we want to hear from you

  • High school education
  • 0 – 2 years' experience in a related field
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Manual dexterity and able to lift 50lbs
  • Basic knowledge of assembly and fabrication an asset
  • Basic mechanical and math skills
