Job Overview:
Exterior painting 80% of your summer & Interior over the winter


Duties:


  • Oversee and lead a team of helpers in various projects
  • Prepare surfaces for painting such as scraping, sanding, and caulking
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for painting projects
  • Perform drywall repairs and carpentry work as needed
  • Restore and refinish various surfaces to highquality standards
  • Leading a crew to finish a job from start to finishQualifications:
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial painting
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of drywall repair techniques
  • Experience in carpentry work is a plus
  • Excellent leadership skills to effectively manage a team
  • Comfortable working at heights and on a roof

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Familiarity with caulking techniques
  • Ability to restore surfaces to their original condition
  • Experience in building or construction industry

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$24.00-$32.00 per hour


Expected hours:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

- painting: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)
