Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to safely utilize basic lab equipment and chemicals
Capability of comprehending and preparing formulations for submissions
Ability to work independently while timemanaging multiple projects
Ability to implement what they learn into developing new or improved formulas, products, and/or processes
Document all activities in a log book for internal record and external audit purposes
Complete product development projects under the supervision of Director of R&I or assigned team leader
Ability to efficiently and accurately work in a fastpaced environment
Work directly with Compounding and Production team to ensure products manufactured meet standard
Conduct all required performance and tests, interprets, records and reports results
Interface with Production, Compounding, QA, Purchasing and Sales & Marketing as required
Assist the R&I team with resolving routine customer and production problems
Assist senior lab personnel as necessary
Execute special projects as assigned
Consistently maintain a safe and GMP working environment while following company policies and SOPs; and ensuring the company's safety and quality needs are met

Qualifications:

4 years Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent preferred
13 years' experience in a related manufacturing environment preferred
Selfstarter, selfmotivated with proactive, and process ownership focus
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced team environment
Strong interpersonal & problemsolving skills and commitment to providing a high standard of quality work
Ability to make and meet commitments/deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Consideration will be given for color matching experience in color cosmetics in lieu of education
