_Who are we?_ We are a livestock feed and commodities company providing service mainly to independant farms and hutterite colonies.

We have several locations across Western Canada with Winnipeg being our head office location.


We are looking for a Full-Time delivery driver
Monday through Friday 8am -5pm _additional overtime may be requested of you.

_Deliveries are only short haul day trips within the province meaning you would be home every night.

Applicants should be hard-working, punctual and able to work under pressure. The work environment is physically demanding.

Applicants should also be comfortable with delivering outside of city limits, capable of working in a team as well as with mínimal supervision.

While not tasked with driving and related duties it is expected to transition into the warehouse and assist with those duties.


Requirements:


  • Must have valid driver's license with drivers abstract within last 5 years
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs consecutively this is a must.
  • Must be able to stand on feet all day this is a must.
  • Must be willing to drive a 5 ton truck

Experience:


  • Forklift experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
  • Operating a 5 ton truck
  • Completing shipping paperwork
  • Picking & Building orders
  • Completing receiving paperwork
  • TDG training or knowledge (not required, but is a positive)

Responsibilities:
(_not limited to)_

  • Daily housekeeping duties
  • Basic maintenance (truck log sheets)
  • Deliveries to customers
  • Pickups from suppliers
  • Picking, building and loading of orders
  • Managing and completing paperwork properly
  • Communicating efficiently with office staff, sales reps and customers
Wage will be determined based on experience. No license endorsements are required for our current fleet of vehicles, just a Class 5F license.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
