Your role in a nutshell:


Reporting to the AVP Wholesale NA, the WS Account Rep supports the profitable growth of The Body Shop's (TBS) key wholesale customers in Canada.

This is a business development role and will include working with existing national retailer(s) as well as new accounts as they come on board.

Under the leadership of WS KAM NA, The WS Account Rep works directly with Wholesale customers to deliver short
- and long-term business plans that deliver on TBS's specific commercial and brand targets ultimately delivering sales volumes in line with TBS's targets/budgets and pre-agreed investment levels. This role is a Fixed Term Contract based on Toronto, and Hybrid/Onsite in office.

  • Sales delivery
  • Support in the delivery of the budgeted sales for the Wholesale channel managed in a way aligned with TBS's brand and business goals.
  • Closely monitor both sellin (Order write) and sellout of TBS products to ensure growth is sustainable and long term
  • Provide visibility of sales trends (Vs previous periods, across customer portfolio, product level and competitor level) and provide accurate trend analysis to align TBS financial expectations with market realties and mitigate budgeting risks.
Account management- Directly manages relationship and business development of large national retailer(s), while supporting AVP Wholesale NA with operational sales tasks related to Other WS opportunities

  • Assist in building strong working relationships with key accounts and facilitate cross organizational relationships to ensure accounts have the correct interfaces within TBS NA to deliver required results.
  • Support the AVP WS with conducting effective customer negotiations of portfolio, cost prices, promotional calendars, investment levels, and trading terms including all contractual agreements.
  • Validate customer promotional related invoices against contractual agreements and work with the AVP WS on promotional plan adjustments to meet sales and budget targets
  • Develop a strong collaborative business planning with the customer in line with strategy of both organizations and manage daytoday contact and regular account field visits both to customer's offices and sales locations.
  • Work to deliver excellent store execution through well planogramed store fixtures, performing assortments & quality brand representation.
  • Responsible for completion and uploading of templates relating to new planogram resets, sampling activities, GWP (Gifts With Purchase) activities, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the TBS brand is represented on the customers' online channel in line with TBS brand guidelines. The online content health is optimized through a continuous maintenance of product names, images, product details, reviews, star ratings, video enhanced content, and that site banners are aligned to the marketing activations plans.
  • Responsible for working with the supply team to secure samples as well as products for GWP activations in line with quantities required and deadlines. Also, responsible to send any samples to stakeholders as required.
  • Maintain a routine, disciplined and hands on approach to being physically present within customers business and helping to build grass level relationships (store manager/assistant manager level).
