In your role, you will:

Identify, analyze, and realize cost reduction opportunities
Manage projects from "idea" to full execution (endtoend)
Analyze the feasibility according to the optimal methods in assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in the component manufacturing site
Participate in the analysis of the cost price of the components
Support the preparation of technical reviews and analysis
Making improvements to existing processes
Support other supply chain agents in their contracts negotiations, the commercial agreements and product changes negotiations
Participate in the governance of cost reduction initiatives and ensure projects come to fruition
Participate in supplier program reviews led by the business units
Travel and support suppliers in the development of optimal manufacturing processes of parts
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, in supply chain or equivalent
You have experience in the aerospace industry, technical background and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management, in a commercial role, an asset
You have five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
You have strong communications skills
You have relevant experience working with external suppliers
You have a good sense of analysis
You are innovative when the situation demands
You are able to work under pressure
You have excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management
You are detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines
You are a strong team player, recognized for your leadership and innovation, and ability to mobilize a team
You have a high proficiency and are a good communicator in French and English (written and spoken)
You have strong capabilities in operations, Project and financial management
You are comfortable with complex technical topics, and have knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts
You are familiar with Just-InTime purchasing logistic, integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts
You can work with Catia, MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook
