Description
Responding to emergencies that involve potentially dangerous substances

  • Identifying the hazardous materials and deciding how best to dispose of them
  • Performing riskbased hazard assessments and using advanced detection, monitoring and testing equipment
  • Selecting and using specialized personal protective equipment and decontamination procedures
  • Packaging, consolidating, segregating, and preparing hazardous waste for shipment
  • Conducting waste stream sampling, profiling, and building assessments
  • Building containment areas and removing hazardous materials from surfaces
  • Managing waste turnin, facility inspections, contingency planning, and housekeeping

Requirements:


What we need from you:
Willingness to learn
Construction Experience is an asset
Must have grade 10 math and English
Must have high school transcript
Up to Date Resume
Ability to complete aptitude test


Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
$22.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
