We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager based from our Hamilton, Ontario facility. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at our Hamilton facility.

As Branch Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for all logistics, scheduling, service delivery, building maintenance, storage and transportation functions.

You will also have the opportunity to focus on both team development and process improvement.


This position has full managerial responsibilities for their facilities, with the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks that will allow you to not only leverage your current skills, but develop new ones.

As a member of the Ontario Leadership team, you will:

  • Leverage your interpersonal skills to develop productive relationships with both your internal team as well as clients
  • Promote a positive, respectful work environment, with focus on employee relations and diversity
  • Manage branch operations with an emphasis on team leadership and process improvement
  • Be responsible for overall financial performance and service delivery, work with the Regional Manager to prepare monthly forecasts, establish and present annual budgets
  • Interface with other business units to effectively implement strategies and work towards business objectives
  • Implement and enforce company policies and operating procedures
  • Work with sales to achieve annual sales plans, ensure customer satisfaction and service level agreements are being met
  • Review corrective action plans for all reported motor vehicle accidents and work place injuries
  • Ensure compliance with Brink's health and safety policies, government regulations and perform senior level safety audits
  • Perform security, branch and vehicle route audits and street inspections

Qualifications:


  • You have previous management experience within transportation, cash logistics, a unionized environment, the armoured car industry or similar environment
  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A good analytical proficiency with a strong customer focus and orientation
  • You can manage conflicts directly, cooperatively and with attention to detail
  • You have proven leadership abilities and can make accurate & logical decisions
  • You are selfmotivated and resourceful with the ability to motivate others
  • You have experience in budgeting and financial analysis
  • You are comfortable with various Microsoft Office Applications.
  • A valid Driver's License and Possession and Acquisition License ("PAL") for both Restricted and nonRestricted, or the ability to obtain one within six months of taking this position
