We are hiring to build a robust Talent and Development team to support our bakeries and Team Members.
Job Location:
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Wage:
$18.17/hour, $2/hout night shift premium (if applicable)
Shift:
All shifts, flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for equipment setup and change overs and running production lines as needed for various food products
- Read work orders and specifications to define prescribed setup operation(s)
- Help troubleshoot equipment problems, and support preventative maintenance activities to reduce equipment issues and forced production stoppages
- Provide input to shift action plan for their equipment area
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and process engineers to enhance processes, procedures and training methods
- Work closely with all production team members to ensure product quality
Job Requirements:
- A lover of bread and baked goods
- You have strong people skills—you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
- You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing)
- You're dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
- You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
- You are someone who listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify your own understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly
