As the
Communications Specialist you will collaborate with our Communications Manager to implement strategies for Bacchus Frechette and Mark Anthony Wine and Spirits brands (both import brands).

Drive consumer awareness through earned media, paid promotions, influencer campaigns, events, and accolades, enhancing brand visibility and boosting sales nationwide.


What you'll do:


  • Work with Manager, Communications to drive PR initiatives, campaigns and media relations for our MAWS import wine & spirit brands, and Bacchus Frechette.
  • Support media activity interviews, events, placements, briefs, followups, preparation and tracking of product release communications etc.
  • Fulfill inbound media requests and develop media toolkits and other PR/marketing.
  • Manage media sample drops (ordering, packaging & shipping samples to reviewers)
  • Oversee PR calendar and media database.

What you have:


  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, corporate communications or acceptable combination of equivalent experience a strong asset
  • 4+ years proven experience as a public relations, events specialist or similar position
  • Bilingual an asset (English/French)
