The Role:


As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a
Billing Clerk to join our team of professionals at
Connors Transfer in
Stellarton, NS. **This role will report to the Accounting Manager.

We are looking for a driven professional who takes initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.


Core responsibilities will include:


  • Processing customer invoices,
  • Sort and match invoices,
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies,
  • Maintain customer files,
  • Communicate with customers
  • Respond to inquiries.

To be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience,
  • Experience with accounting systems,
  • Postsecondary education in accounting or administration is an asset however not required,
  • An energetic, selfstarter who works well in a deadline driven environment,
  • High attention to detail,
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office,
  • Strong attention to detail,
  • Experience in trucking industry
  • Excellent communication skills, while maintaining confidentiality,
  • Sound judgment,
  • Works well in a busy environment,
  • Can manage conflicting priorities with ease.
  • Positive attitude,
