Flair Airlines is currently seeking a
permanent, full-time UX/UI Manager
, to join our growing and ever-changing organization.


The
UX/UI Manager will be based out of Vancouver, BC (YVR) working a hybrid work arrangement and some travel may be required.


Position Overview:


Primary Job Functions:


  • Design a beautiful, compelling, and easytouse customer centered user experience across all digital platforms.
  • Direct collaboration with Ecommerce product managers to ensure development roadmap has ready to implement backlog of designed features with top of the industry standards.
  • Close collaboration with the ancillary revenue to ensure the best idea to product design of each ancillary product or ticket sales optimization in the booking flow and throughout the customer journey to maximize upsell and order conversion rate. Multivariate testing will form a key part of this optimization.
  • Close collaboration with the marketing team to ensure flair's web and app deliver the right messaging and a brandenhancing experience.
  • Implement a customer centric design culture within flair as well as proper guidelines to ensure ideas and designs are aligned with this approach.
  • Follow up, evaluate and analyze data of developed designs to present to stakeholders, propose iterations and foment a continuous improvement environment.

Secondary Job Functions:


  • Research and benchmark competitors, and users to gather and understand trends and customer value based on data driven and best practice designs.
  • Optimize and consolidate a valuable design process, libraries and guidelines to deliver mock ups and proposals to product managers and hand over to developers.
  • Facilitate and support design sprints, innovation workshops, and review meetings with stakeholders to analyse, align, and prepare UI/UX designs.
  • Provide support and input to developers to assure UX/UI requirements are deployed on A/B testing and releases.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in humancentered interaction, UX/UI design, or related field of study or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Experience in ecommerce retail, airline or travel industry is a strong plus.
  • Experience with design & ideation tools such as Invision, Figma, Sketch, Miro, Mural, is a strong Plus.
  • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without any restrictions.
