Hourly rate:
$36.00 for 40 hours per Week

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in shoring industry is preferred,
Requirements: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of shoring techniques, knowledge of various shoring systems and equipment, and familiarity with safety protocols and regulations specific to shoring operations.

Dusty & noisy
Work setting:
Construction & Civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities
As a Shoring Foreman, your responsibilities include the following:
Supervision:
Lead a team of up to 2 to 4 shoring workers and equipment operators, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure the successful execution of shoring tasks.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), equipment safety, and safe work practices to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
Site Preparation:
Coordinate and assist in the clearing and preparation of the site for shoring activities, including the removal of obstacles, grading, and ensuring proper drainage.
Shoring Installation:
Oversee and assist workers in the installation of shoring systems, such as soldier piles, sheet piles, or secant piles, ensuring compliance with design specifications and engineering drawings.
Equipment Management:
Manage and maintain proper use of shoring equipment and tools.
Collaboration:
Liaise and collaborate with managers and other construction trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination and integration of shoring activities with other project components.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of shoring activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, equipment logs, and safety documentation.
Own tools/equipment:
Hard hat and steel-toed safety boots
