Compensation Information:

$20.60 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Heavy, work activities involve handling loads of more than 20 kg; Predominately in an Outdoor Setting.

Accountabilities:

Purchasing of goods & services in response to appropriate requisitions from authorized personnel
Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers and prepare purchase orders
Arrange for deliveries in the most economical way
Receive goods as necessary
Contact suppliers to resolve shortages, missed deliveries and other problems.
Ensure documentation of received goods is complete
Keep the warehouse neat, tidy, and organized
Keep the purchasing vehicle neat, tidy and in good working condition by liaising with the Vehicle Maintenance department to ensure regular vehicle maintenance as necessary
Valid BC Driver's license.
Some experience with Microsoft software (Excel and Word).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
