- Fluent Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred for our patient population
- Formal MOA training certification is an asset
- Knowledge and Experience with the Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) is an asset
- Work experience as an MOA with reference is an asset
Some duties include:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients
- Assisting the specialist physicians to optimize patient care including organizing laboratory tests, imaging scans, patient referrals and communicating with allied health care providers.
- Assisting in general medical administrative duties (running patients, answering phones, organizing patient appointment, cleaning & tidying of clinic)
- Ensuring exam rooms are kept stocked and ordering supplies as necessary
- Perform clinical duties such as vital signs, obtaining patient information and preparing rooms for clinical procedures.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary:
$15.65-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
