Position Overview

This position will be required to work at all three of the County's Long-Term Care facilities: North Lambton Lodge in Forest, Lambton Meadowview Villa in Petrolia and Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia.


As a part of the Long-Term Care Division, you will provide clerical support for typing of documents and other projects as assigned.

Input/monitor/revise resident nutritional information into dietary software program. Participate in special functions as necessary.


Responsibilities:


Assist Nutrition Supervisor with the following tasks: update diet lists, nourishment lists and dining lists as necessary; update product sheets; make changes in menu system; build Resident Nutritional Profiles, resident meal audits; assist Dietitian with new admission assessments; develop and deliver In-services for staff; update recipe books; assist with monitoring residents on special diets and special feeding problems; assist with special functions as planned; conduct case studies on residents re weights, nourishments, supplements, etc.


Qualifications:

Secondary School Graduation Diploma (Grade 12). Must be enrolled in a Dietitian/Nutrition program. Computer skills are required. Must be well disposed to working with older people and working as part of a team.
