This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in deposit products.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President Deposit Products, (Personal Banking) this role is responsible for assisting in the strategic direction for Laurentian Bank's Personal Banking deposit products and services across Laurentian Bank of Canada.

This includes collaborating with partners and support cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of existing products through end-to-end product customer journey management and enhancing the bank's product offering by reimagining banking products to exceed customers' expectations.

As a SME for Deposit Portfolio, this exciting and challenging role will bring out the best in you.

As a professional to this robust Team, you will assist in establishing and strengthening the product line portfolios, support the transactional networks growth and daily management, and contribute to the key innovative strategies for deposit products.

Responsibilities:


o Analyze and evaluate new and existing products in terms of market potential, relevance, competitive differentiation, channel, and alignment with Laurentian Bank's business objectives.

o Execute daily reporting, pricing changes and bank communication.

o Analyze the introduction of new products and services inclusive of client experience mapping, product specification development, launch strategy design, business case development and detailed financial analysis

o Optimize deposit product performance to support the bank's growth within retail, B2B and Digital and profit targets.


o Anticipate and identify emerging trends impacting the business and/or product performance and support the management team in developing appropriate response strategies.


o Keep abreast of changes in regulations in order to ensure that the department's procedures, projects and practices evolve accordingly.

o Serve as product champion, ensuring organizational alignment against product objective ie: Performs all necessary research regarding new or existing products and maintains a database on products and services offered by the competition

o Analyze and maintain product performance dashboards.

o Support execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns including ideation, execution and performance reports.


Qualifications:

o University Degree in a related field

o Experience in financial services an asset

o Demonstrated experience with market evaluations, financial analysis, business case development, product pricing, new product design, and planning.

o Self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Creative, strategic thinker who challenges the status quo.

o A highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skills.

o Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines.

o Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite

o Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets.
