Applications are currently being accepted for a Full Time Volunteer and Human Resources Coordinator for the Walkerton, Kincardine, Chesley and Durham sites of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.

***Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Volunteer & Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the volunteer program at all four sites of SBGHC, is responsible for the coordination of SBGHC co-op and job shadow student placement programs and administers the non-clinical training program. This position also provides support and back up to various other HR functions such as recruitment and employee relations.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
  • CHRP designation an asset
  • Experience volunteering or in volunteer coordination an asset
  • Experience with the recruitment process an asset
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential environment
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise excellent judgment and discretion; elevating issues well in advance
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and problem resolution
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work collaboratively and put forth extra effort as required
  • Propensity and interest in development of systems or processes that successfully enhance the efficiency of special project work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work cooperatively and successfully with multiple departments
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Highly organized with effective timemanagement skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects
  • Demonstrated computer efficiency required
