is currently recruiting for the following position located in Fredericton, NB:
Head of Shared Services.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Controller, the Head of Shared Services will take a lead role in management reporting, budgetary control, variance analysis, provide accurate information to support decision making, compliance with corporate policies and IFRS.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Accounts Receivable Processes:

Responsible for sales invoicing, collection, month-end close including accruals, reconciliation, ensuring checks and controls, AR ageing, Credit Management, update freights in SAP, Internal transfer pricing, Supply contracts with Internal companies, and Monthly Reporting, etc.

Accounts Payable Processes:

Responsible for managing Accounts Payable, payments, month-end close including accruals, GL reconciliation, checks and controls, Review AP ageing, and Monthly Reporting, etc.

Taxations:

Responsible for reviewing and filing Income Tax Return, Excise tax, HST Return, Non-Resident Return and all statutory tax compliances. Ensuring withhold on NR vendors/suppliers as per CRA. Act as support for all tax-related issues including communication with CRA and Revenue Quebec, etc.

Responsible for preparing monthly/Quarterly/Annually Consolidated MIS and Statement of Accounts
Reviewing and reconciling payroll related GL accounts
Analyze corporate TB accounts and analyze the variance with budget
Dealing with various stakeholders, such as: Logistics for sales invoicing, Customers and Vendors for reconciliation and collection, Controller/Financial Analyst for monthend close, Auditors for Reviews/checks and balances, Internal Audit and Statutory auditors.
Complete all Statscan survey on timely basis
Work with Senior Corporate Controller in other accounting, tax, monthend activities and other adhoc activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Preferred CPA or Qualified Accountant
35 years' relevant experience;
Excellent communication skills ;
Experience in MS Office (specifically Excel);
Preferably worked in an ERP system (specifically SAP ERP) would be a benefit;
Experience in the manufacturing industry would be an asset;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
High level of motivation, energy and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment;
Attention to detail.
