Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for prospecting, routing, and closing new business opportunities. The BDR serves as the instrumental contact for new business referrals/inquiries and leads the prospecting process.

The BDR works closely with EHN leadership, Admissions, Client Care, Referent Relations, Business Development team-mates and other company resources to successfully transition referrals/inquiries into the EHN account base.


Responsibilities:


Strategic and tactical functions include:

  • Leading Mid-Market Corporate and Healthcare Prospecting (new and dormant opportunities) for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) solutions
  • Triage of inbound inquiries/leads to appropriate account owners
  • Managing leads from corporate, healthcare or specifically assigned segment(s) referral inbox(es)
  • Managing leads from B2B Marketing Inbound Funnel and collaborating with Marketing on initiatives to continually drive the funnel
  • Providing advisory, insights and process enhancement recommendations based on new business inquiry/referral experiences
  • Competitive Intelligence analysis
  • Professional Development with Individual Development Plan (IDP) for career growth (BDM)

Requirements:


  • Primarily working in hybrid environment.


  • Travel

  • May be required to travel to Regional Canada locations, National Office (Toronto, ON), and North American conference locations

  • Computer literacy, including strong competency in Salesforce, PowerBI, Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects involving large revenues and a high degree of complexity
  • Experience collaborating for results, working in a fastpaced environment, great organizational skills and demonstrated positive leadership style
  • Project management skills and strategic planning ability required.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills

Experience:


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of enterprise account management and sales prospecting/planning processes
  • Experience in collaborating for results, good organizational skills and demonstrated positive leadership style
  • Previous healthcare sector experience is an asset

Education:


  • Postsecondary education in business related discipline
  • Diploma or Degree is an asset but not required
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as working effectively in a team environment
  • Supervisory skills are an asset, but not required
