Description

The Role
Working within the group benefits sales team, this position will assist with lead generation and sales. This includes; outbound calling and addressing client questions and concerns regarding policies, and appointment setting. The role requires experience with high volume of calls, attention to detail, and exceptional time/priority management.


Qualifications

  • Completion of postsecondary degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with outbound calling or related experience.
  • Knowledge of Group Health Insurance plans a plus but not required.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Office (Excel and Outlook).
  • Must be strongly detail oriented.
  • Ability to work with clients to support, explain and provide the assistance they need in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and completing tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:


  • Outbound calls.
  • Work closely with internal sales team and prospects.
  • Communicating Northern's valueadd to existing and prospective clients.
  • Interface with prospects and resolve client inquiries and concerns.
  • Respond to written and telephone requests from clients within service standards.
  • Provide recommendations for resolution of problems and issues and suggest process improvements.
