Position Overview:
As a Prepper for Heavy Collision Repair at CanFix Repair, you will play a crucial role in preparing heavy vehicles for the repair process.
Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that vehicles are properly prepped, allowing our technicians to perform efficient and effective repair work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare heavy vehicles for collision repair by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces as needed.
- Remove grease, dirt, and other contaminants from vehicle surfaces using cleaning solvents and degreasers.
- Repair minor imperfections and damage on vehicle surfaces, such as dents and scratches.
- Assist technicians with equipment setup, material handling, and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of materials and waste.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive collision repair, particularly with heavy vehicles, is preferred.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including sanding, masking, and cleaning.
- Familiarity with painting materials, tools, and equipment used in collision repair.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

Salary:
$48,099.16-$65,000.00 per year
