FIELD CREW WORKER
Experience with hydroseeding, landscaping, or erosion and sediment control is an asset. Experience operating heavy equipment is also an asset.
A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not required if you have other means of transportation.
If you've worked in lawn care, landscaping, property maintenance, vegetation management, or have a wealth of experience on construction sites, or in forestry or agriculture, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for people who take pride in their work and who are willing to learn and advance their skills as necessary to meet the needs and the demands of the company and future projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Performing general labour tasks
- Performing hydroseeding activities
- Taking direction from a supervisor
- Operating power tools, gas or electric
- Operating equipment and machines
- Sorting, counting, organizing, and transporting supplies and materials onsite
- Mixing seed and mulch in tanks
- Planting plants
- Calibrating hydroseeding equipment
- Pulling / preparing hydroseeding hoses
- Completing company training courses
- Participating in safety procedures/practices/training/meetings
- Wearing personal protective equipment as directed
- Site cleanup and maintenance
- Filling out forms and using company apps
Salary:
$24.00-$28.00 per hour
