Main Responsibilities:

Be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
Perform field quality control testing (material sampling, compaction & coring) for cold recycling projects
Conduct laboratory and field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures for cold recycling projects
Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated
Participate in activities related to improvement of the quality system
Enter field data as required to support Quality Control Superintendent
Travel to sites within Ontario; either using personal vehicle or carpooling with construction crew
Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Background in construction and field sampling/testing materials is an asset
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
G2/G License required with a clean driving abstract
Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 25 kilograms
Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions
Willingness to work days, nights and weekend shifts as assigned
Willingness to work for extended periods of time away from home, where housing will be provided
