Main Responsibilities:


  • Be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
  • Perform field quality control testing (material sampling, compaction & coring) for cold recycling projects
  • Conduct laboratory and field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures for cold recycling projects
  • Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated
  • Participate in activities related to improvement of the quality system
  • Enter field data as required to support Quality Control Superintendent
  • Travel to sites within Ontario; either using personal vehicle or carpooling with construction crew
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Background in construction and field sampling/testing materials is an asset
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • G2/G License required with a clean driving abstract
  • Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 25 kilograms
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions
  • Willingness to work days, nights and weekend shifts as assigned
  • Willingness to work for extended periods of time away from home, where housing will be provided
