Opportunity Summary
The Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) allows small

E-commerce Youth Advisors will receive training from their service provider covering several topics:

Understanding the Canada Digital Adoption Program in its entirety.
Understanding the Kingston Economic Development Corporation, their corporate mission, and the different funding programs they offer
Salesforce
Promoting the Canada Digital Adoption Program to local small businesses through inperson outreach
Learning the capabilities of several ecommerce solutions and related tools
Developing communication skills
Determining an individual business's needs and values

Eligibility Requirements:

Individuals who have graduated from high school and are planning on pursuing a postsecondary education;
Individuals currently pursuing postsecondary education; or,
Individuals who have recently graduated from a postsecondary institution.
Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the _Immigration and Refugee Protection Act_*;
Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations; and
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment

SERVICE / PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES /

OBJECTIVES:
CDAP

Work collaboratively with both fellow E-Commerce Advisors as well as successful Canada Digital Adoption Program applicants to assist in the development and implementation of their proposed Canada Digital Adoption Program project.
Complete documentation and reporting as required and outlined by Kingston Economic Development and the Canada Digital Adoption Program

This includes:

Reviewing and validating business claims to ensure they align with the eligible expenses' guidelines.
Updating all accounts on Salesforce.
Logging outreaches, inquiries, and consultations on Salesforce.
Support local small businesses in developing a plan/project that will assist their business in adopting new technology and improving their ecommerce.

Advisory Services
Cybersecurity
Social Media and Marketing
Participate in special projects that support Kingston notforprofit businesses in the creative industry.
Participate in skills training offered through CDAP project partners. Develop industry specific marketable skills and experience to assist with future career development and decision making.
Attend all meetings and training as required by all CDAP stakeholders, KEYS and Kingston Economic Development
