Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to product guidelines you will diagnose and repair to specifications: brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
- You will be responsible for performing high quality auto repairs.
- Inform Tower/Dispatch when repairs are finished and ensure that repair stories are complete, well written and include a properly documented complaint, cause and correction story
- Check and verify parts before installation
- Explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to nonmechanical individuals who may include employees and customers on an asrequired basis
- Learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
- Comply with required health and safety regulations
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements:
- Dodge / Ram Diesel experience a must
- Automotive Service Technician License
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A/C licence is an asset
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Technician (including apprenticeship)
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write a story clearly and concisely
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask
- Highly selfmotivated, committed teamplayer with the desire to learn
- Willing to learn as a part of further personal development
- Working knowledge of CDK software
