Digital Communications Coordinator

This position will provide a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring approximately two days a week in our head-office in North Vancouver and three days a week from a home office.

Location: 1250 Lonsdale - North Vancouver/Hybrid Schedule

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels that is consistent and on brand to increase followers and impressions on social media platforms
  • Review platforms for industry trends, audience sentiment, algorithm changes, and engagement opportunities. Make recommendations based on findings
  • Understand target audience personas and leverage social media channels to increase reach and size of key audience segments
  • In collaboration with the team, develop and manage monthly and weekly social media calendars. Responsible for managing scheduling platform. In collaboration with the team, establish social media KPIs on individual platforms, execute campaigns, and analyze results to recommend optimizations to improve performance
  • Moderate, engage with and respond to public and client comments and direct messages on social media, and engage with local organizations and platforms relevant to BlueShore
  • Responsible for the intranet homepage ensuring relevancy and accuracy of information
  • Create new content including feature articles, imagery and graphics for intranet homepage and internal communication channels, ensuring relevancy and accuracy
  • Coordinate event details and produce presentation material, videos, etc. for organizationalwide employee virtual and inperson meetings
  • Provide support for implementing communications projects
  • Support and amplify community impact and sponsorship initiatives including leading employee engagement opportunities, volunteer management, social media plans, and onsite execution

Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of directly related experience in communications and social media
  • Expert writing and editing skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Complete knowledge of social media platforms including handson experience with scheduling, listening and reporting tools
  • Experience in gathering and interpreting social media analytics to take timely action
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay Transparency

Pay transparency is an important characteristic of our recruitment process and overall BlueShore culture which supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.

The target range of this role is $60,000 - $75,000. Employment offers are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity. Plus competitive variable performance bonus.
