Mathnasium of Pleasant View is currently looking for instructors who are
energetic and
passionate with Math,
love teaching and working with kids.

Our mission is to teach children math so that they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

Responsibilities:

Teaching math to students between Grade 1 12, using the Mathnasium Methods
Being Energetic and Creative while teaching new concepts to students
Update student binders
Occasional interaction with parents
Relevant tasks related to teaching students at the Learning Centre including administrative assistance and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Caring, energetic and confident personality
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Exceptional math knowledge from Grade 12
Love working with children
Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
Enjoys working in a team environment
Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Welcome retired and passionate teachers
Ability to teach students in upperlevel high school math courses
Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, etc) is a plus.
University graduate or university student from a program with strong emphasis on Math. Educators, Pre and Post OCT are most welcome to join the team.

Job Type:

Parttime (between 8 to 20 hours per week)
Class hours are Monday
Thursday 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. (May change according to students availability)

Salary:
$16.70-$23.00 per hour
