OFFICE AGENT CLASS I
INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM
6050 Blvd. Champlain, Verdun, QC. H4H 1A5

**Status of post**: Replacement, full-time
**Start date**: Immediate
**Working Schedule**: 35 hours per week
**Qualifications**:
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority, and have one (1) year of pertinent experience
AND
Have a basic knowledge of office automation
**Other Requirements**:
Must be bilingual
Fluency in other languages an asset
Must be able to function autonomously with mínimal supervision
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to work as part of a team
Accuracy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills are essential
Must be able to summarize data and prepare reports using Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Testing of Microsoft Office Required
Knowledge of Dofin, Mozaik, Access is an asset
Ability to meet deadlines, particularly during peak periods
Must be able to effectively communicate updates and information to other staff members
Ability to maintain and streamline filing system procedures
Available to work through summer and March break
Required periodically to work evening shifts
**Salary scale as per the IASS' Collective Agreement**:
$22.36 To $25.00 per hour
Nature of the work
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in performing a variety of administrative duties of a complex nature according to established methods and procedures.
Daily Tasks/Dossiers
Contacts persons in and outside the school board to obtain or provide information related to their duties, determines deadlines, makes practices and regulations known and conveys decisions. They draft correspondence related to their duties.
The employee is responsible for completing all tasks related to the funding process.
The employee may be required to train new Office Agents Class I as well as to coordinate the work of support staff.
Receiving and recording payments.
Registering new and returning students and maintaining accurate student databases.
Creating Mozaik checklists and invoices for new and returning students.
Receiving and recording payments.
Assisting existing students with general inquiries in regard to their file.

**Qualifications requises**:
Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études professionnelles dans une spécialité appropriée à la classe d'emplois ou être titulaire d'un diplôme de 5e année du secondaire ou être titulaire d'un diplôme ou d'une attestation d'études dont l'équivalence est reconnue par l'autorité compétente et avoir une (1) année d'expérience pertinente.
ET
Avoir des connaissances de base en bureautique.

La maîtrise d'une autre langue est un atout.
Capacité de fonctionner de manière autonome avec une supervision mínimale
Capacité d'effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois
Capacité de travailler en équipe

Capacité de résumer des données et de préparer des rapports avec Excel et d'autres logiciels Microsoft Office
Examen sur Microsoft Office exigé
Connaissance de Dofin, Mozaik et Access un atout
Capacité de respecter des échéances, particulièrement en période de pointe
Communication efficace des mises à jour et des renseignements aux autres membres du personnel de soutien
Capacité de tenir à jour et de simplifier les méthodes du système de classement
Disponible pour travailler l'été et pendant le congé de mars
Doit régulièrement travailler en soirée
**Échelle de salaire selon la convention collective del'UIES**:
22,36 $ à 25,00 $ de l'heure
Nature du travail
Le rôle principal et habituel de la personne salariée de cette classe d'emplois consiste à accomplir divers travaux
administratifs de nature complexe selon des méthodes et procédures définies.
Tâches quotidiennes/Dossiers
Communique avec des personnes à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la commission scolaire pour obtenir ou fournir de l'information relatives à ses tâches, fixe les échéances, fait connaître les pratiques et les règlements et transmet les décisions. Il ou elle rédige l
