_Human Resources Manager_
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and organizational objectives.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Development and execution of the HR strategy in collaboration with the Senior Management Team.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing and employee benefits enrollment.
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as diversity, harassment prevention, and performance management.
- Oversee and assist with recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy when using company in house HR database system.
- Identify new potential training initiatives both internally and externally, as well as assessing and closing gaps in
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HRrelated matters.
- Coordinate employee performance evaluations and succession planning processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve HR strategies and initiatives.
COMPETENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years Human Resources management experience
- Valuesbased individual who operates with a high level of integrity and honesty and a strong focus on people and
- Relevant College or University Degree along with a Certified Human Resources Professional Designation (CHRP
- Must be knowledgeable on key legal issues associated with HR practices in Ontario.
- Strong general computer skills (ADP and MS Office) are considered an asset
- Demonstrated relationship building skills, written and oral communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing an HRIS / in house HR database system
- Able to collaborate with management and employees to identify and resolve issues while ensuring compliance
- Engaging and a strong communicator with a focus on relationship building and maintaining a positive company
- Confident, approachable and have the capacity to understand multiple perspectives, possessing a high degree of
- Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
