NATURE AND SCOPE
Under the supervision of the Director, Student Recruitment and External Affairs, the Alumni Engagement Associate is the primary liaison and point of contact with the College's graduates and supports the development and implementation of alumni engagement activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies, cultivates and maintains interactions with the College's alumni, notably through social media, to support student recruitment, student success and other institutional
- Collaborates in the planning and coordinating of alumni activities that promotes networking and engagement opportunities with the College community and fellow alumni.
- Provides creative content for alumni publications and related sections of the website, and other publications
- Conducts research on alumni and supports the development of proposals for alumni engagement
- Maintains the alumni database and the integrity of the information, produces reports, mailing lists and documents alumni interactions and activities
- Assists with the coordination of events, projects and activities within the Student Recruitment and External affairs department
- Participates actively in crossdepartmental projects as assigned

- Strong analytical skills and ability to pay close attention to details
- Excellent networking skills and ability to seize opportunities to engage and cultivate relationships with alumni
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma of college studies (DEC) or equivalent in an appropriate field
- Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, communications, customer relations, event planning;
- Bilingual, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French
- Proficient in various social media platforms and online tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the Quebec postsecondary education sector is an asset
- Experience with alumni databases and related software is an asset
