Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the plant's production of components and various assemblies (locks, solar panels, kiosks, etc.) by using hand tools or machines to assemble and test components while following assembly instructions
  • Support production line readiness by verifying the inventory levels of the production lines, helping maintain tooling requirements, and organizing workspaces
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Conduct quality control checks by performing visual inspection of the parts received for the assembly line as well as mechanical testing of new parts
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms

Requirements:


  • Must be fluent in French (verbal, reading, writing), English skills are a positive
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year previous experience in a similar position
  • Must be able to read and understand plans and simple instructions
  • Must have good manual dexterity including the ability to handle various hand tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, any lifting over 50 pounds will be team lifting
  • Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Must be comfortable in environments where work is performed sitting down or standing for long periods of time
  • Must have a respect for processes
  • Must be punctual and have good work attendance

Job Type:
Fixed term contract


Salary:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour
