Summary


We are looking for a Project Manager to work closely with the CEO on implementation on various initiatives, including, but not limited to process improvement and operational redesign, productivity review/staff deployment and the provision of strategic information to support those processes.

Your findings and recommendations will have a direct financial and staff impact. You will be working in person out of the Vancouver office, with daily progress check-ins with the CEO.

Role Responsibilities and Scope

  • Ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as described in the project plan.
  • Leading and coordinating project activities including budget management and resource management.
  • Inspiring project team members to achieve goals and facilitating teamwork through effective communication of Healthcode's vision.
  • Establishing project teams and providing leadership, guidance, and support to designated project staff.
  • Communicating with all levels of staff and management to facilitate consensus building and information sharing.
  • Liaising with third parties, including consultants, vendors and other health care entities and other agencies to negotiate contracts for the provision of goods and services.

Education and Experience

  • A degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or any other relevant field
  • Project Management Professional Designation is a plus
  • Five to seven (57) years of recent, relevant experience that includes budgeting, managing projects, and facilitating and managing consultation processes with various stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to strive within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management software

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Sound business acumen in managing the fiscal resources of assigned projects/services in a manner that is financially responsible and consistent with overall goals of the organization.
  • Initiative, vision, independent thinking, and creative problemsolving abilities in implementing project plans.
  • Broad knowledge of patient care delivery systems in primary, acute and community settings.
  • Thorough understanding of available resources for projects and applicable stakeholder groups, ability to provide feedback and detailed analysis on project processes and make recommendations as required.
  • Effective work under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Salary and Benefits
- $120,000 - $140,000 base salary, with potential bonus based on individual performance
